Good Things Come From God

We enter this new year was anticipation and expectancy. Anticipating and expecting 'Good things from a Good God!'. Many of us would have never dreamed we would see the year 2017. As one person has rightly stated, 'Time marches on' and it 'Waits for no man'. As we move into this new year there are many Biblical prophecies unfolding all around us. It's good to be reminded that God is in control and knows 'All Things'. The prophet Daniel spoke of an 'Increase in knowledge' in chapter twelve and verse 4. Today we are told that knowledge is doubling every twelve months and is soon to begin doubling every twelve hours. That's incredible! That's fulfillment of Bible prophecy. The Scripture also tells us as we approach these end times that there would be an intensification of evil. The Apostle Paul wrote to Timothy and detailed a last days (Present days) description of this. He said that 'Perilous times would come. Men would be lovers of themselves, money, be boasters, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy, unloving, unforgiving, slanderers, without self-control, brutal, despisers of good, traitors, headstrong, haughty, lovers of pleasures rather than lovers of God. Sounds like our present day! However, as difficult as these times may appear, we approach the new year with expectation and anticipation. God is still in control of all things and He is still good!
