Christ Centered Life

Every Christian understands the importance of faith in living a Christ centered life. The Hebrew writer said, 'Without faith it is impossible to please God'. As we endeavor to live this life of faith we know that we must contend for the faith. The word contend means to 'Strive, to Combat or even to Fight'. As we live in these evil and difficult times we are required to be faith contenders. We must continue to strive and even combat the evil forces around us. How do we do that? It's by our faith in Christ. Faith contenders know Who they believe in, they know What they believe but they also know Why they believe. Our contending for the faith is not striving for some 'Pie in the Sky' belief. It is grounded upon the Rock of Christ and validated by many infallible proofs of our faith. There is evidence to the faith, prophecies that have been fulfilled, experiences that have been known. That's the Why to our faith. We know Who we believe, we know What we believe and we know Why we believe. May we keep on Contending for the faith!
