Life Storms

With the beauty of springtime, the flowers and the budding of the leaves on the trees, there is also the threat of impending bad weather. Arkansas has already experienced a number of tornadoes that have caused damage to homes and businesses. As much as we love this time of year we also realize that 'Storms' are an inevitable part of it. Whether it is tornadoes or simply thunder storms, nature provides challenges. The same is true in life. There are 'Life Storms' that come our way. Unfortunately we are unable to often 'Track' these storms or have high tech devices such as 'Doppler Radar' or other means to see these storms approaching. However, the Scripture speaks of the storms in our lives. Jesus talked about the absolute importance of building our houses / lives on a solid foundation. He knew it wasn't a question as to IF the storms of life would come but WHEN. Sometimes these 'Life Storms' come against our health, against our families, against our finances or against our faith. However and whenever they may come, if we have build our lives on the foundation of Jesus Christ, WE WILL SURVIVE these storms. The songwriter penned these incredible words so long ago, "On Christ the sold rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand".
