FRIENDSHIPS

Being a part of the local church reinforces the fact that people truly do need one another. One of the tragedies of American culture today is that most people do not have close friends. One of the wonderful aspects about being connected to a local church is 'Friendship'. The church can help fill the gap of loneliness and isolation. There are some great 'Connecting Points' that can be found in the Church, that I don't believe can be found in any other social group or organization. There are certainly relational connecting points, some might say, with any social group of people, we know that is true, but there is an added and maybe overlooked area within the Church, within Christian relationships, it is the 'Spiritual Connection'. We join together weekly with people of 'like precious faith', not simply for a relational connection but so much more. It is truly an opportunity of connecting together with people of 'Like Precious FAITH'. Our personal faith is the greatest 'Connection' we have. Our relationship as believers is far more than just some doctrinal dogma or our similar beliefs, it is a spiritual connection where God truly is our FATHER, where Christ is our Savior and where the Holy Spirit lives within each of us as Christ-followers...What a connection! What a privilege! What an opportunity to come together with more in common than what we believe but WHO we are!
